Private View Wednesday 2th April 6pm-8pm the third spaceis delighted to present a new work by Alistair Wilson. In this new installation Wilson continues his exploration of liquids and their transformative relationship with our environment. The “flooded” gallery is transformed by the reflective surfaces and particularities of the space both reinforced and undermined by the intervention. Alistair Wilson, lives and works in Belfast and is a Reader at the University of Ulster. He has exhibited widely in Europe, selected exhibitions include; Tides,Regina Gouger Miller Gallery, Carnegie Mellon University, Purnell Center of the Arts, Pittsburgh, 2006, Dogs Have no Religion, Czech Museum of Fine Art, 2006 and A Long Weekend - The Nature of Things (Artists from N. Ireland), 51st Venice Biennale, and Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast, 2005. His work is held in many private and public collections including the Ulster Museum and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
